16mm Single Bellows NBR Vacuum Suction Cup
The B1.5-16N is a 16mm single-bellows suction cup for small-part vacuum handling. The bellows provides limited height compensation and compliance for parts that are slightly uneven, concave or convex.
This model is superseded by VFB15-2N. The lifting values below are theoretical calculations at 24"Hg / approximately 80% vacuum.

Estimated Lifting Force at 24"Hg
Theoretical lifting force is calculated from suction area and effective pressure. Actual working load must be reduced by the appropriate engineering safety factor.
Important: Theoretical lifting force is not a safe working load. Actual capacity depends on vacuum level, seal quality, surface porosity, acceleration, orientation and application conditions.
Typical Applications
- Small package pick-and-place
- Plastic, steel, glass and stone handling
- Concave and convex parts
- Applications needing limited height compensation
- General automated vacuum handling

Frequently Asked Questions
How much can this 16mm cup lift at 24"Hg?+
The theoretical calculated lifting force is approximately 1.6kg / 3.7lb before applying a safety factor.
Why use a single bellows cup?+
The bellows adds compliance and limited height compensation, helping the cup adapt to small variations in part position or surface geometry.
Is this model still current?+
No. The source product data lists VFB15-2N as the superseding suction cup.
Do I need a safety factor?+
Yes. The calculated force is theoretical and must be reduced using a safety factor appropriate to load orientation, acceleration, surface condition and risk.
