ZVU-ES2 Energy savings kit suitable for the AMC75-AMC150

This Vacuforce product is designed for industrial vacuum automation. The ZVU-ES-AMC75 is an energy-saving control kit for compatible AMC-series vacuum generators fitted with a non-return valve.

The assembly switches vacuum generation ON and OFF according to system vacuum level, allowing compressed-air consumption to be reduced when a sealed vacuum circuit can retain vacuum between generator cycles.

Reduce Compressed-Air Consumption

In a sealed vacuum circuit, the non-return valve retains vacuum while the control switch turns the venturi off. The generator restarts only when vacuum falls to the selected threshold.

Vacuum SwitchMonitors system level
NRVRetains vacuum when OFF
AutomaticCycles generator as needed
Energy SavingReduces unnecessary air use

Important: Use with a compatible vacuum generator that includes a non-return valve. Without vacuum retention, the system may not maintain vacuum while the generator is switched off.

Typical Applications

  • Sealed non-porous product handling
  • Centralized vacuum systems
  • Vacuum circuits using external valves
  • Applications with hold time between cycles
  • Compressed-air reduction projects

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the energy-saving kit work?

It monitors vacuum level and switches the generator off when adequate vacuum is reached, then restarts it when vacuum falls to the selected threshold.

Why is a non-return valve required?

The check valve helps retain vacuum in the system while compressed air to the venturi is switched off.

What is the switch range?

The source data lists a set-point range of -16 to -90kPa, approximately 5–27"Hg.

Where is this most effective?

It is most effective on reasonably sealed vacuum circuits where vacuum can be retained for a useful period after the generator is turned off.
