What Is a BSPT Push-To-Connect Fitting?

A BSPT push-to-connect fitting combines a British Standard Pipe Taper threaded connection with a one-touch tube connection for pneumatic tubing. The tapered threaded end screws into a BSPT threaded port while the opposite end accepts pneumatic tubing using an internal gripping mechanism and elastomer seal.

This design allows compressed air tubing to be installed quickly without compression nuts or special tools while providing a dependable connection that can easily be disconnected during maintenance.
