It turns the tubing connection through 90 degrees at a compatible female-threaded port. The specified connection is 3/8 Tube to 1/4NPT Thread. A male swivel elbow is useful for tight valve manifolds or compact control panels where tubing should exit to the side. Confirm orientation, thread type and clearance before final assembly.

Grade 316 contains molybdenum, which improves resistance to some forms of localized corrosion compared with 304. It is often chosen on exposed food, beverage and pharmaceutical machinery where moisture and frequent cleaning are concerns. It is not immune to chloride pitting or crevice corrosion.

Not automatically. FKM resists many oils and industrial media, but strong or hot alkaline cleaners, steam and some sanitizers can damage certain grades of FKM. Verify the complete cleaning process, including chemical concentration, temperature and exposure time, for both the seal and the stainless body.
