VFSC3/8

The Vacuforce VFSC3/8 self closing valve is designed to improve vacuum system efficiency when used with suction cups in handling applications.

In a typical setup, such as a Squid tool fitted with suction cups, each cup can be connected to a VFSC3/8 self closing valve. If a suction cup does not seal against the load being handled, the inrush of air through that cup causes the valve to close automatically. This isolates the unsealed cup from the common vacuum source.

By shutting off airflow to cups that are not engaged, the VFSC3/8 helps maintain stronger overall vacuum performance across the system. This can result in higher vacuum levels, zero leakage at inactive cups, and the ability to use a smaller vacuum blower, generator, or pump.

The VFSC3/8 self closing valve is a practical solution for vacuum tooling systems where product size, positioning, or surface variation may prevent every suction cup from sealing during each lift.
