Vacuforce Vacuum Components
ZFC75-B 8 mm (5/16 in) Inline Vacuum Filter with Push-to-Connect Ports
The Vacuforce ZFC75-B is a point-of-use inline vacuum filter with 8 mm (5/16 in) push-to-connect tubing ports, a transparent bowl and replaceable 10-micron filter element. Its published vacuum-flow rating is 3.9 CFM (110 NL/min).
Product Overview
This ZFC75-B filter is installed in the vacuum line between a suction cup or fixture and a vacuum source. Dust picked up during handling remains in the filter instead of reaching the Venturi ejector, pump or downstream valving.
The 1,260 mm² filter-size class and 8 mm (5/16 in) tubing ports should be evaluated together: the filter element provides particulate protection while its published 3.9 CFM vacuum-flow rating helps assess pressure loss and whether the component is appropriate for the circuit.
The transparent housing supports visual inspection. The quick-change element can be serviced without removing the entire filter body from the machine, subject to the installation and isolation procedure.

Where This Filter Is Used
Point-of-use filtration on vacuum pick-and-place machines, end-of-arm tooling, packaging lines, molding-part transfer systems and other equipment that may pull surface debris into the suction circuit. ZFC75-B is particularly relevant where a 8 mm (5/16 in) flexible tube is already specified.
Its published media are air and nitrogen. It should not be promoted as a process-water or liquid filter.
Flow and Installation Guidance
The 3.9 CFM (110 NL/min) rating is the published vacuum-flow value, not the 9.9 CFM (280 NL/min) positive-flow value; these are separate test conditions. Compare the vacuum-flow requirement of the generator and the restriction allowed by the machine.
Use clean compatible tubing cut squarely to the published 8 mm outside diameter. Secure the mounting bracket, follow the indicated flow direction where marked, and inspect the bowl and element periodically.
Frequently Asked Questions
What tube size fits the ZFC75-B?
The push-to-connect ports are sized for 8 mm outside-diameter tubing. The datasheet lists nylon, PU and PE tubing materials.
Is the vacuum-flow rating the same as positive-pressure flow?
No. Published vacuum flow is 3.9 CFM (110 NL/min); the separately stated positive-flow rating is 9.9 CFM (280 NL/min).
What does the 10-micron figure mean?
It is the published filter porosity. It is not a complete particle capture-efficiency certification.
Can this inline filter protect a Venturi vacuum ejector?
Yes. Installing an appropriately sized filter upstream of the vacuum source helps intercept dust from suction cups and picked products.
How do I know when the element needs changing?
Look for accumulated dust, reduced available vacuum flow or increased cycle time. Replace the element as needed for the operating environment.
Which replacement element fits the 7-size body?
The published filter family calls for a ZFC-7 element. Match the replacement part to the fitted housing before ordering.
Can it be used with nitrogen?
The ZFC datasheet lists air and nitrogen as suitable media, within the stated pressure and temperature range.
Is this filter intended for pressurized water lines?
No. The published application is for air and nitrogen; it is not a liquid-service filter.
Selection note: Confirm connections, actual operating conditions and required holding force or filtration performance before final installation. Vacuum generator flow and compressed-air consumption are different measurements; ratings shown are under the published test conditions.
