40 Micron Replacement Filter Element – MAXI FRL | XOFE40-MAXI

The Pneuforce XOFE40-MAXI is a 40 micron replacement element for compatible MAXI XOF filters and XOFR filter-regulators. It restores filtration performance without replacing the complete air preparation component.

The 40 micron element is the standard choice for general industrial compressed air filtration, removing dirt, rust and pipe scale before contaminants reach downstream equipment.

Choosing the Correct Pneuforce FRL Component

Choose the MAXI element for a compatible MAXI filter bowl. 40 micron refers to the particle filtration grade, not the body size; the MINI, MIDI and MAXI elements are not interchangeable.

Installation & Service Guidance

Isolate and depressurize the air supply, remove the filter bowl, replace the contaminated element and inspect the bowl seal before reassembly. Never remove a bowl while the system is pressurized.

Important: Isolate and fully depressurize the compressed air system before installation or maintenance. Confirm model, body size, port size and component compatibility before ordering.

Which FRL assemblies accept XOFE40-MAXI?

This MAXI element fits the compatible MAXI Pneuforce XOF inline filter and XOFR filter-regulator bowl. Select the same body size; MAXI is not interchangeable with other FRL body sizes.

What filtration grade does this replacement provide?

This element has a 40 micron particulate rating. A 5 micron element provides finer particulate filtration than a 40 micron element when the parent unit supports it.

Does a 5 micron element reduce available airflow?

A finer element can create more pressure drop than a 40 micron element. Compare the manufacturer-rated flow for the filter body and grade before changing filtration levels.

Does the filter element remove water vapor or oil vapor?

No. Particulate elements capture solid contaminants, while the filter bowl separates entrained liquid water. They are not substitutes for compressed-air dryers, coalescing filtration or vapor removal.

Is the filter housing included?

No. XOFE40-MAXI is a replacement element for the existing compatible MAXI filter or filter-regulator.

When should this element be replaced?

Inspect the element at planned maintenance intervals. Replace it when damaged, loaded with contamination or causing unacceptable pressure drop.

Can I replace the element while pressurized?

No. Isolate and fully depressurize the FRL before removing its bowl or replacing the filter element.
