The Squid® vacuum gripping tool has been developed to offer the vacuum user a universal end of arm vacuum tool. The Squid® vacuum gripping tool utilizes different “end effectors” such as vacuum cups, foam, orifice fittings and self closing valves. The choice of Squid® vacuum gripping tool is dependent on the application and user preference. Please contact Vacuforce to discuss the application. Custom size and shape Squid® vacuum gripping tools are available to suit the customer application.
The following models use an external vacuum generator or blower and the Vacuforce self closing valve to seal cups which are not in contact with the product being handled. These are ideal for handling heavier products which vary in size.
