The Pneuforce XOL-MINI-N14 airline drip lubricator meters a controlled oil mist into the compressed air stream for pneumatic equipment that requires continuous lubrication. This model uses a MINI modular body with 1/4" NPT ports.

The adjustable drip-feed design allows lubrication delivery to be matched to equipment demand and can be combined with compatible filters and regulators as part of a complete modular FRL assembly.

Modular Joining Kits and Field-Change Thread Blocks

A matching MINI XOFR filter-regulator and XOL lubricator can be joined with the FRLKIT-MINI modular FRL joining kit. Each joining kit is size-specific: MINI, MIDI and MAXI kit bodies are not interchangeable. To change the connection thread size while retaining the MINI modular component, select a compatible MINI OHB replaceable port/thread block. Available MINI thread blocks: OHB-MINI-18 (1/8" NPT), OHB-MINI-14 (1/4" NPT), OHB-MINI-38 (3/8" NPT). This helps distributors and plant maintenance teams carry fewer complete FRL variants and configure the required NPT port size at the point of installation. Confirm the port block, seals, orientation and component compatibility before fitting.

Choosing the Correct Pneuforce FRL Component

XOL-MINI-N14 provides adjustable oil-mist lubrication for pneumatic components specifically designed to receive lubricated air. Install after the filter and regulator. The MINI series has a published minimum airflow of 0.1 CFM (3 NL/min) for the oil-feed function; do not assume reliable lubrication at lower flow.

A lubricator introduces a measured oil mist downstream of the filter and regulator. It should be used only where the connected valves, cylinders, air motors or tools require ongoing lubrication.

Where does it go in an FRL system?

After the air filter and regulator and before components that require lubricated air. Confirm the marked flow direction and install the unit vertically.

What connection size and body does it use?

What are the minimum and rated airflow specifications?

The FRL datasheet lists 81 CFM (2,300 NL/min) rated flow and 0.1 CFM (3 NL/min) minimum airflow for the MINI lubricator oil-feed function.

Does every pneumatic cylinder or valve require lubricated air?

No. Many modern components are designed to run on clean, dry, non-lubricated compressed air. Use oil mist only where the equipment manufacturer calls for it.

What lubricating oil should I use?

Select an air-line lubricant approved by the downstream equipment manufacturer. The product family datasheet does not specify a universal lubricant grade.

Can I refill the bowl while it is pressurized?

Do not remove a pressure-containing bowl while pressurized. Isolate and fully depressurize the component before bowl removal or service.

What temperature range is listed?

The FRL datasheet gives an operating temperature range of 41–140°F (5–60°C). Confirm the intended lubricant remains suitable for the working environment.

Which joining kit connects a MINI XOFR and XOL?

Use Pneuforce FRLKIT-MINI to join compatible MINI XOFR filter-regulators and XOL lubricators. Choose the kit for the same body size; MINI, MIDI and MAXI joining kits cannot be mixed.

Can I change the MINI FRL NPT connection size without replacing the complete assembly?

Yes, where the assembly accepts the replaceable Pneuforce OHB thread blocks. The MINI port options are OHB-MINI-18 (1/8" NPT), OHB-MINI-14 (1/4" NPT), OHB-MINI-38 (3/8" NPT). A suitable block can simplify on-site configuration and inventory management; confirm the matching component and seals first.

Does the XOL lubricator have a condensate drain?

No. The XOL is an oil-mist lubricator with an oil reservoir. It does not filter condensate and has no bowl drain. Use an upstream XOF filter or XOFR filter-regulator where drainage is needed.
