Pick Up Cylinders

Vacuum cylinders have been expertly designed to offer automation machine builders an efficient solution for vacuum pick and place operations. These innovative vacuum lifting cylinders are fully automatic in the Z axis, eliminating the need for additional vertical motion control. • Vacuum cylinders start in a rest position with the piston retracted (up position).
• When vacuum is applied, the piston moves downward (extends) until the vacuum cup attached to the piston seals against the load (2).
• Both sides of the cylinder equalize, and the internal spring retracts the cylinder rod to its original position, holding the part securely (3).
• Once the vacuum is turned off, the part is released from the Suction Cup (4).
